Time: Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:00PM (2 hours)
In this 3 or 5 week art workshop, students will be introduced to a variety of art-making styles using different materials and techniques, drawn from different eras throughout art history. This class is geared towards students with a keen interest in the arts, who are looking to explore new mediums, which will draw upon on the students’ individual artistic styles.
Alathea (Thea) is an art educator and cultural producer based out of Toronto. After completing her degree at Concordia University in Montréal, she taught several classes and led a youth camp with the Visual Arts Centre. In 2016, after moving back to Toronto to raise her daughter, Alathea has been focusing on the production of arts and culture events in collaboration with organizations and associations like StreetARToronto, various BIA’s, Mural Routes, and more. She’s excited to be back to teaching with the amazing folks at Northern Contemporary, and looks forward to highlighting the artistic skills of the children of the Roncesvalles neighbourhood!

Class Size: 8 kids
- $300 per participant (6-12 year olds) for session 1 (5-weeks)
- $180 per participant (6-12 year olds) for session 2 (3-weeks)
** All classes are final sale and non-refundable once we've reached the minimum number of registrants required to run the class. However, they are transferrable to someone else if you are no longer able to attend the class.
