Date:  Saturday February 7th, 9th, & 11th (new dates added!)

Time:  7:00 - 9:30PM (2.5 hours)

Ages: 18+

Overview:  Join us at the gallery for a Heated Rivalry craft night — low-stress, beginner-friendly, and mostly an excuse to hang out, watch Heated Rivalry, chat, and drink ginger ale 🏒✨
We’ll be making small embroidered pieces on 6" hoops using basic stitches, beads, and other easy embellishments. No experience needed. I’ll have lots of Heated Rivalry drawings and quotes printed and ready to use, so you can trace, stitch, bead, or whatever you're comfortable with.
All materials are provided, everyone leaves with a finished hoop!

Instructors: Emily May Rose & Alexandra Morag Spencer

Emily May Rose is an award-winning artist and illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. Based on her own experiences, Emily’s work features a cast of recurring characters (most notably her weed-smoking, pizza-eating raccoons) to depict humorous situations that are relatable to many of us who are trying to survive in an urban environment. Her work can be found in many formats including murals, editorial illustration, apparel design, installations, and gallery settings. Her murals can be found all over the world where she's painted in street art festivals, artist residencies, and other commissions during her various travels.
