Build-a-Bug with Alex Bauman
Friday April 10th, 6:30 - 9:30pm
Create your own little ceramic critters to decorate your home with our Build-a-Bug workshop! Participants will be guided through the basics of hand-building and receive a ball of white porcelain clay to transform into any type of critter they like. They will have the option to decorate their creations with a selection of underglazes before a final clear glaze.
Facilitator: Alex Bauman is a Toronto-based ceramicist and illustrator. Inspired by nature, whimsy, and her inner child, she loves to create little critters and colourful, often humorous scenes. When not making lil’ critters they are slinging expertly crafted coffee at their cafe The Bothy in the East End.
