Build-a-Bug with Alex Bauman
Friday September 25th, 6:30 - 9:00pmCreate your own little ceramic critters to decorate your home with our Build-a-Bug workshop! Participants will be guided through the basics of hand-building and receive a ball of white porcelain clay to transform into any type of critter they like. They will have the option to decorate their creations with a selection of underglazes before a final clear glaze.
Facilitator: Alex Bauman is a Toronto-based ceramicist and illustrator. Inspired by nature, whimsy, and her inner child, she loves to create little critters and colourful, often humorous scenes. When not making lil’ critters they are slinging expertly crafted coffee at their cafe The Bothy in the East End.

Location: Northern Contemporary Gallery (420 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto ON)
Class Size: Max 12 people per workshop (Ages 18 +)
Cost: $80 per participant
All ceramics made during workshops will take 3-4 weeks to receive back. Works will be fired at local ceramics studio Kitte Club. You will be contacted by email when they're ready for pick-up at Northern Contemporary.
