Begin your weekend with a rejuvenating yoga class designed to release stress and cultivate mental clarity and calmness. Led by Bareket, this class focuses on mindful movements and proper alignment, empowering you to build strength and create spaciousness within your mind and body.
Awaken your body and mind with a thoughtful flow of sun salutations, standing sequences, balancing poses, and mindful rest. Each session is crafted to help you cultivate a deeper connection with your breath and movement, promoting a harmonious balance that you can carry with you off the mat.
This class is suitable for students with varying degrees of yoga experience. Postures can be modified to meet the needs of both beginners and more experienced students.
Whether you're seeking to refine your practice or embark on a new journey, this class offers a supportive environment to practice in a community.

About The Instructor:
Bareket has been practicing yoga for 20 years and recently graduated from a 200 Hour RYT Teacher Training. Their unique approach to teaching, which brings together self-compassion and playfulness, is deeply influenced by their personal experience with the benefits of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Also a practicing muralist and community arts facilitator, Bareket is passionate about supporting others along their healing path and is excited to offer classes in the creatively inspiring environment of Northern Contemporary Gallery.
In their classes, they focus on mindful movements that are accessible and adaptable, catering to both beginners and experienced practitioners. They aim to help each student discover and deepen their practice of yoga, enhancing their mind-body connection through alignment, strength, and meditative breath work. Join them on a transformative journey where we explore yoga as a pathway to achieving inner spaciousness and vibrant health. Together, we will cultivate practices that support thriving in all aspects of life, enriching our community through the power of movement and mindfulness.

Class Size: 30 people maximum
Cost: $18 per participant (Ages 16+)
** All classes are final sale and non-refundable once we've reached the minimum number of registrants required to run the class. However, they are transferrable to someone else if you are no longer able to attend the class.
